Overview
Stay in a true piece of history and explore the Peak District in style – YHA Hartington Hall is a hostel worth writing home about. This Jacobean mansion plays host to everything from weddings to field trips, boasting great facilities like free Wi-Fi, a games room and two meeting rooms. We’ve got everything you need for a conference or study break, including a projector and internet access.
Cycling groups are perfectly placed to take on the Tissington, High Peak and Manifold Trails – ask us about the 5 circular ‘Flower Trails’ too. We also offer a lockable bike shed and plenty of insider knowledge of the best hiking and mountain biking nearby. Once you’re back for the night, relax in the 17th-century walls that housed Bonnie Prince Charlie and enjoy some tasty group catering.
Whether you’re headed to classic attractions like Chatsworth House or shopping in Bakewell and Buxton, we’re a base with buckets of atmosphere. Catch our fun beer festival, cosy up by the log fires, or head further afield for Peak District Hang Gliding, pony trekking or exciting water sports.
