For school groups staying at the hostel we can offer our new Multi-Activity package, which includes guided walks across the moors, local history and geography sessions, learning about the impact of lead mining on the area, archery, shelter building, fire lighting and orienteering. You ca also enjoy more adventurous sessions including abseiling, climbing, rafting and other adrenaline fueled challenges delivered by our expert partners at Carnegie Great Outdoors.
YHA Grinton Lodge also makes a great destination for groups keen on leading their own activities, be it secondary schools, colleges or universities wanting to lead fieldwork sessions in the fabulous moorland that’s accessible straight from the hostel door, or primary school planning their own bespoke residential. You can also add YHA led activities as a half day or full day bolt onto your self-led stay or go that little further and book in a day of activities with Carnegie Great Outdoors.
