Overview
Chester’s beauty and unique atmosphere make it one of Britain’s most popular places for an unforgettable break. Explore this beautiful part of England with its unique and friendly atmosphere from our great base for groups.
YHA Chester Trafford Hall is a glorious Georgian house with 14 acres of grounds complete with nature walks and landscaped gardens to explore. The hall was originally built in 1756 and combines the grandeur of a glorious Georgian house with modern, sustainable facilities.
Groups can make full use of shared spaces in the hall, including a spacious lounge, dining area and fun games room. There is also a drying room and kitchenette for basic food preparation and washing up. Upstairs you’ll find meeting rooms and conference facilities, including a projector, flip chart and stationery, so school groups and business delegates can meet, study and relax in peace.
Bedrooms are available in our eco-friendly chalet accommodation, based near the hall and powered by renewable energy. All private and dorm rooms are en-suite.
The hostel is situated just outside of Chester city centre, meaning you have easy access to all the great things this city has to offer. After a busy day of urban adventures, let us recharge you with group catering options. There is free Wi-Fi and a handy 24-hour staffed reception too.
