Visit one of the most fascinating locations in the Peak District with a stay at YHA Eyam. This quirky Victorian folly is just up the hill from the famous plague village. School groups and history lovers can discover how Eyam quarantined itself during the Great Plague of London, leaving many tragic landmarks behind. You can also visit Peak District favourites like Chatsworth House or Haddon Hall.
This memorable building (like a mini castle) makes a great base for walking groups and educational visits and has modern essentials like free Wi-Fi. There’s also a meeting room in our grounds with a whiteboard, overhead projector and drink-making facilities – ideal for planning or studying. Relax in our cosy social areas, take advantage of our group catering options, or enjoy a drink in our grounds.
From Eyam museum just a short walk away to top market towns like Bakewell and Matlock, we’re surrounded by rural attractions. If you’re planning an activity break, there are fantastic walks from the doorstep, or we’re just a stone’s throw away from climbing hotspots like Stoney Middleton.
