One of Cornwall’s (if not the UK’s) most amazing attractions, the Eden Project is an incredible experience for groups and school trips. Combining fun activities, breathtaking beauty and thought-provoking education, Eden has on-site accommodation in the form of our quirky Snoozebox hostel.

YHA Eden Project is perfectly in tune with the Eden Project’s sustainable ethos and groups can sleep inside recycled shipping containers. These air-conditioned rooms have en-suite bathrooms and TVs, offering a memorable way to stay here. The hostel has a heated marquee, conference equipment and games, perfect for learning or just a place to enjoy and relax after a long day exploring the biomes. There’s even free Wi-Fi too.

The hostel itself is situated to provide schools and groups the perfect base to explore the Eden Project. For schools and colleges wanting the full experience the Eden Project education team deliver a range of 2hr workshops closely linked to the National Curriculum and available for all ages, from Early Years to Key Stage 5.

In addition to the workshops the Eden team also offer a range of 3hr challenges, making use of the wider Eden Project grounds.

Finally, and exclusively to residential groups, the Eden Project offer 3 exciting evening activities including the secret biome: a unique opportunity to explore the biomes when they are closed to the general public as night time falls – a truly magical experience.

All workshops, challenges and evening activities are delivered by the experienced education staff from the Eden Project and should be booked directly with their education team who are available on 01726 811913. Entrance to the Eden Project is included in the price with any workshop, challenge or evening activity.

We recommend that all school groups who plan to visit the Eden Project as part of their stay with YHA contact the education team on the above number to ensure that you get the most out of your visit to this truly unique experience.

For more information on the workshops, challenges and evening activities please visit the Eden Project schools page.

Entrance to the Eden Project needs to be arranged in advance. Either as part of the packages offered by the Eden Educational team or separately as entry only.

It’s not just all about school adventures; YHA Eden Project also makes a great destination for exploring the wider Cornwall area as well as a place to stay if attending any of the incredible events held at the Eden project throughout the year, including the fabulous Eden Sessions.
