From gentle strolls to epic hikes, YHA Brecon Beacons is a dream location for walking groups. This 19th-century farmhouse sits in the heart of the National Park, boasting epic views towards Pen-y-Fan – the highest mountain peak in South Wales. From 15 acres of woodland walks to exciting traffic-free cycling routes, this homely hostel makes a great base for activity breaks and team building.
The hostel offers a welcoming lounge, complete with sofas and a roaring fire – the perfect mix of plush facilities and rural charm. Groups can bond over a board game, curl up with a good book, or just admire the spectacular views from our picnic tables outside. If you’re hungry after a day hiking, you can look forward to home-cooked group meals, breakfast and a packed lunch. Not to mention a great selection of ales at our licensed bar.
Field trips will find many opportunities to study this amazing area and the Brecon Beacons National Park Visitor Centre is nearby. You could book a fun orienteering course here, or learn more about the wildlife and plants around us.
