YHA Beverley Friary
A former Dominican friary, YHA Beverley Friary sits in the heart of a buzzing market town and makes a fascinating base for groups. You’ll find the perfect mixture of refurbished facilities and amazing period features – not to mention free Wi-Fi for our guests. The hostel is filled with interesting rooms (just check out some of the murals) including a space that can be used for studying or socialising.
YHA Beverley Friary is self-catering only, but you’ll find a large and well-stocked kitchen to prepare group meals in. Why not relax in our walled garden after a day of culture, surrounded by history?
Beverley itself is a great location for shopping and eating, with many quirky independent shops to explore. With a stunning minster, St Mary’s Church and medieval crafts trail, field trips and history buffs will be occupied for days. You could even visit the award-winning attraction The Deep at Hull. If you’re tired of the town, walk or cycle out into the valleys, woods and hills of our idyllic countryside.

How to get here
By car and coach:
From the west and south follow the signs for the Minster and Friary. From the north follow signs for the Minster. When adjacent to the Minster turn down Friar’s Lane. This is narrow, so please drive carefully and be aware of children leaving the nursery school. The Friary car park is on the left at the end of the lane.
