Access For Disabled Visitors
YHA values inclusivity and we are working hard to improve our hostels and services for people with access requirements.
We have an incredibly diverse network of hostels, from rural castles and listed buildings to inner city, purpose built hostels. The variety is part of what makes us stand out from the crowd, but it does mean that access can be a challenge at some sites.
If someone in your group has access requirements feel free to contact us to see how we can help to select the best hostel for their needs.
Finding Information Online
We know that it is important for our guests to have enough information about the accessibility of our properties so that they can plan a visit to us and experience all that YHA has to offer.
The majority of our hostels have an access statement; you can find them on each hostel page.
We are still in the process of gathering information for some of the hostels which are affiliated with us. If you are interested in a hostel and cannot find the information you need, we are here to help.
The following hostels have some adaptations which may make them suitable for wheelchair users and people with mobility impairments. For more details on each one please read the access statement.
Our dedicated team is here to help you along the way.
